it seems that the “no vacancy” lp has grown legs and taken on a life of it’s own. with so much support from the dj community it’s hard to stay on schedule with releases. it seems everyone wants to do a mix of it. so i’ve decided to create the “no vacancy” remix pack! just recently i have gotten some bomb ass remixes from A.D. Cruze, CJ Burken and San Tomasso. I want you to preview them now and let me know what you think. i know for a fact that you won’t ever be the same.
go to my page on myspace.com and listen to the exclusive remixes…
also, be sure to go to your nearest retailor and pick up a copy of the No Vacancy LP, still selling everywhere.
O U T N O W ! !
the undah-dub feat. grier
slinky secrets
decibel nyc recordings
the dynamic duo of undah-dub and super voice grier are at it again! this time it’s a funky junky called “slinky secrets”. imagine that beautiful piece in the club that you know has got the goods. but smoke, mirrors and beauty keep their dirty side at bay just to save face…this is the song to rebel on those types! ”…the dirty ones you think are, too hot and moist and pinky for slinky secrets!” that should say it all. i guess it’s literally asking those tricks to unlock that vault and let us in, cuz we might have to take it by force. undah-dub pops off one of his funkiest and quirkiest numbers yet, with a steller electro type remix that completely seals the power of this song in a new compact form. fit for radio or clubs, this vocal driven gem will drive everyone crazy. CJ Burken ducks his head out of the lab to serve us, “the people remixes”. the vocal mix is a deep and abstract journey into radio space. this is a vintage journey from the master himself, you do not want to miss. And for the boys in the big room, you might want to check out Noxxers twisted version. he beefs up the soundtrack with a pumpin drum kick, crazy bass line and a lot of moaning….perfect for that 3 a.m. light show. trust with any of these mixes there will be no wrong turns here tonight. gets to goin!

well since the release of the lp “no vacancy” i have been trying to take a breather to enjoy the fruits…
however duty still calls and i have been up to my neck in work. i have just completed my remix for the next single “slinky secrets” featuring grier. this remix pack will be hot. it has a dj noxxer mix and cj burken remix (look what the cat…)
here is a sample of my live remix for slinky secrets. (click on link->) slinky-secrets-remix-sample
also i have finished my remix of denvil’s “let go” it’s called undah-dub’s fighting mix and it’s dark and hot! i like this a lot because every other mix is garage and up. mine goes dark and in your face. this will be released on the remix pack of let go on harlem station recordings. it also features lou peoples remixes.
here is a sample of the mix (click link for sample->) let-go-undah-dubs-fightin-remix-sample
now, i am working on Miss Pats – “possession”. this is the first single from Breezes E.O.E. Productions imprint. this is coming. i haven’t found the groove that i want, so i keep trying, my deadline is soon.
other deadline is A.D. Cruze’s “House Music” on digital vinyl recordings. i am also stumped on this one. it has so many great remixes, that i still haven’t found what i want to do with it, so stay tuned for that one also.
other than that its biz as usual at harlem station. trying to bring you as much aural excitement as possible. so i will be back atcha…

things have been really good lately. i find that what’s old makes new, as life is a circle. this is happening with music and also in my personal life. lately i have been reconnecting with a lot of friends from ago. a lot of special friends and people that hold spts in my heart, and i am digging it. with this good energy coming around, it comes on so many levels. i am finding it crossing over into my career and that’s just cool. i have received some opportunities to revive and rerelease a couple older tunes, and create new ones with others. it makes me feel good to know that the people we meet in this life we meet for a reason. some stay in your life for a week, a year a lifetime…no matter what the time frame, those that are supposed to be there will be…back, eventually. i for one, am just taking a moment to appreciate these people.
this was just a p.s.a. reminding you kiddies “never underestimate the laws of energy!”
so since this is a retro piece, here is a mix from dj steveboy. i found it online, he mixed my track “i didn’t say it” on the playlist, so i figure i would give a feature link…enjoy.

i can’t believe july is over already. what is that? it seems like it just started. i have been in the thick of recording my lp and the closer i get the further it seems. i have had my head buried in the console for a while and i am happy with many things i am completing. i would like to feel more confident about the time stamp however. my glory is taking way too long. seems about over a year i have been working this project. this isn’t a complaint just a factual vent. but my impatience is very powerful, so let me document my…anxiety!
i am 8 songs deep in completion, with a few more in production due to the recent addition of a few vocal songs i wanted to include. so i have had to go back and retool a few tracks to make them song friendly and god dayum that is daunting….but writing songs is what gets me excited so i am jumping for joy right now because i got 2 of my closest buddies to perform on the lp and overall everyone is happy with their part and i am happy to have them a part. keep your eye out as i will give a few snippets here and there just to keep you all in the know…(check the player for music)
lets keep our fingers crossed as “no vacancy” should be completed this month. send out a few blessings that i can control my a.d.d. for one more month! thank you, good night…

on a typical saturday morning, i didn’t expect too much. hardly the energy to get excitable, inspired, creative and lifted up all at once. how was i to know the signs for the course of my day was gonna be dictated by my mp3 player.
having a little cafeinne and a brief runin with pogo.com for my morning randoms, i decided to put on a bit of music, just to have something to hear. so as usual, go to my playing now list, insert a few random genres and hit shuffle…
you know how they say that your mp3 player has a mind of it’s own? well mine does and it knows when to hit me where it hurts…my inspirational center. put it this way, i have completely forgotten everything i was doing ten songs ago and have no memory of my daily activity up until thus point at track 12. every track was so fierce, i think i hurt myself.
now, after this blog is finished, i have retailored my free time into…well, not really free anymore. i am starting the day all over a gain. i am heading to the studio right now to drop a track!
funny what music can do to you when you thought she couldn’t catch you with your pants down, again!
here is the first 10 songs on my random playlist.. well i guess not so random anymore.
1 herbert – The Movers & The Shakers (Green Velvet remix)
2 Samim Ft Big Bully – The Lick (Derrick Carter Dub Mix)
3 The Psychedelic Furs – House (Flashback Mix)

7 Justin Timberlake – Love Stoned
8 david bowie – The Secret Life of Arabia
9 quentin harris – poor people (the undah-dubs live in infamy mix)
